What “HEIC Compressor” means in HEICX
Phone HEIC files are already compressed. To make shares smaller, HEICX re-encodes to JPG at a lower quality inside Workspace. That is honest size reduction — not “no quality loss,” and not Live Photo handling.
When to use it
Use this preset for email, chat, or quick web shares where size matters. For OCR or sharp text, prefer PNG instead.
