File processing (conversion and viewing tools)
HEIC conversion, viewing, and metadata inspection tools on HEICX are designed to run locally in your browser.
- Your photos are not uploaded to HEICX servers for conversion.
- We do not store your image files on our servers.
- Because files are not uploaded, there is nothing for us to delete after a retention period.
If a future feature requires a server (for example, a developer API), we will describe that clearly on the relevant page before you use it.
Analytics and cookies
We may use privacy-oriented analytics and tag management (including Google Tag Manager) to understand aggregate site usage, such as page views and basic device/browser information. These tools may set cookies or similar technologies.
